Software Engineering II - Salesforce

Overview

Develop and maintain Salesforce applications and enterprise integrations, designing technical architecture solutions across multiple Salesforce Clouds and delivering secure, scalable, high-performance solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable, robust, and high-performance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Implement Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and other enterprise integration patterns.
• Work collaboratively with product management, UX/UI designers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, follow development standards, and are properly documented.
• Participate in reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development, security, and coding best practices.
• Design technical architecture solutions spanning multiple Salesforce Clouds, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Analytics, Social, and Communities.
• Design solutions that include integration and authentication across systems.
• Manage the development lifecycle to deliver highly secure solutions optimized for performance and built to scale.
• Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years of experience in Salesforce application development.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security guidelines and features.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Flows, LWC, Salesforce APIs, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using SOAP, REST, and other integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of any CPQ platform.
• Familiarity with automation test frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or II.
• Experience with Salesforce application development, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
