Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading and developing engineering teams, ensuring delivery aligned to architecture, non-functional requirements, and security standards.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop teams of individual contributor engineers and less experienced managers.
• Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements per release.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to apply technology strategies and support application migration.
• Drive resolution of technology roadblocks across code, build, and deployment while managing the development cycle.
• Serve as an escalation partner for scrum masters and teams to remove impediments.
• Conduct peer reviews and guide design to align solutions with technical direction and codebase quality.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work, training, military experience, or education).
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
