Overview

Software Engineering Technical Lead focused on C/C++ firmware and L2/L3 networking software for Cisco Meraki switches. Lead design, development, testing, and debugging of system software that supports connectivity and configuration.

What you'll do

• Architect networking components for scalability and high availability.
• Design and develop firmware for Meraki switching products.
• Analyze requirements and problem statements to produce software designs and solutions.
• Write detailed design documents and functional specifications.
• Code and unit test software components and modules.
• Triage, debug, and perform root-cause simulation, software bring-up, and customer failure analysis.

What you'll need

• 12–15 years (Bachelors) or 10–12 years (Master’s) experience in Computer Science, EE/ECE, or related fields.
• Proficiency in writing quality code in C/C++.
• Experience developing software/firmware for networking products.
• Excellent knowledge of software architecture and system design.
• Experience in concurrent programming and IPC/RPC mechanisms.
• Strong network fundamentals for L2/L3 protocols.
• Technical leadership experience leading high-performance teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with debugging and verification methodologies in C/C++.
• Hands-on development experience on L2 and L3 protocols.
• Cisco networking certificates (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) desirable.
