Software Equity Research Analyst

Overview

Conduct data-driven equity research on software and SaaS companies, using proprietary datasets to analyze market trends, AI's impact on software spending, and IT budgets for institutional investors.

What you'll do

• Create and communicate insights from proprietary datasets.
• Develop new research products and features with the data team.
• Build trusted relationships with subscribers.
• Position products on client calls and webcasts.
• Support product references in the press.
• Drive research on software spending, AI, and IT budgets.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in equity research or management consulting-style writing.
• Background in equity research or business analysis.
• Passion for data-driven fundamental investing.
• Commitment to learning new technology skills.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience covering the technology or software sectors.

• Annual base salary of $150,000 plus a targeted 15% bonus and equity.
