Software Expert/Software Architect

Overview

Design, build and guide scalable, reliable and maintainable software solutions for semiconductor equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams and acting as a subject matter expert for software engineers.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable and maintainable software solutions for the organization.
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural/software designs.
• Code and develop quick prototypes to establish designs with real code and data.
• Act as a subject matter expert to unblock software engineers.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to software engineers during development.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet project requirements.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex software components and systems.
• Mentor and coach Tech Leads and software engineers.

What you'll need

• 12-18 years of experience with a B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
• 10+ years of experience in product development.
• 10+ years of experience in core Java and advanced features (e.g., streams, functional programming, virtual threads).
• 5+ years of experience in Spring Boot and associated Spring features.
• 4+ years of experience driving or contributing to HLD and LLD, code reviews and coding practices (clean code and SOLID principles).
• 4+ years of experience building and driving microservices-based architecture or large-scale systems.
• Strong in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in workflow frameworks (e.g., Temporal, Apache Airflow).
• Experience in reactive programming.

Nice to have

• AI Agent Orchestration and Knowledge Infrastructure design.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor domain.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
