Software Support Engineer - Tier 3

Overview

Provide Tier 3 software support for semiconductor equipment products installed at customer sites, resolving complex software, IT, database, and system issues.

What you'll do

• Resolve complex customer issues and software escalations that do not require code changes.
• Analyze software, IT, database, and computing issues.
• Reproduce customer issues on internal systems and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide troubleshooting plans and technical solutions to field support teams.
• Support software development milestones, feature reviews, customer demos, and product introductions.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, and complex case troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Develop training programs, support utilities, procedures, and best-known methods.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience in technical support or a Tier 3-equivalent role.
• Experience understanding multidisciplinary, large-scale systems.
• Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to work off hours and weekends.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience in software development, testing, or integration.
