Software Test Engineer (ETL tester - python, pyspark, SQL, databricks)

Overview

Software Test Engineer focused on test automation for UI and services, using Python/SQL and tools like Playwright/Selenium and Azure/DevOps pipelines.

What you'll do

• Lead development and implementation of automated tests and testing frameworks.
• Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application test automation using Playwright/Selenium, Python, and SQL.
• Create scalable automation frameworks and build test suites across technologies.
• Maintain test plans, procedures, and scripts and perform product-level integration tests.
• Implement, execute, and debug automated test scripts using multiple tools.
• Perform manual testing covering all service functionalities prior to automation.
• Work with teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy application components via CI/CD.

What you'll need

• 3-8 years of applicable software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in UI and services automation testing.
• Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and test suites.
• Must have SQL knowledge.
• Strong technical skills in Playwright, TestNG, Python, SQL, and JAVA.
• Ability to create and enhance UI and service automation frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
