Solutions Developer Apprentice

Overview

An apprenticeship on the Fortrea India Apprentice Program, supporting the commercial organization's tools, which cover Sales, Proposals and Contracts.

What you'll do

• Run and execute daily and weekly data cleaning processes.
• Analyze data to identify exceptions and issues causing daily processes to fail.
• Code and debug existing programs to make business-required modifications.
• Collect and perform mathematical, statistical or financial analysis on data collections and files consisting of Excel, CSV and SQL data.
• With guidance, begin to develop new programs or automation to assist business needs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Scripting, programming and computation skills (mathematics, statistics, basic numeracy).
• Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language such as Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, Python, or similar.

Nice to have

• At least a basic understanding of Excel, CSV and SQL.
