Solutions Engineer - Charlotte, NC

Overview

Solutions Engineer (pre-sales, technical) partnering primarily with an Account Executive to drive secure networking customer solutions in the Americas.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Account Executives to drive business and growth opportunities.
• Capture customer requirements and recommend networking products and solutions.
• Showcase secure networking solutions, including routing, switching, wireless, and automation.
• Lead RFP responses, set up demonstrations, and drive proof of values.
• Design and configure products to meet specific customer requirements.
• Perform product demos and multi-architectural Proof-of-Concept (PoC) tests.
• Maintain competitive knowledge and follow market transition and industry trends.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience sizing and designing routing, wireless, and switching deployments both on-prem and cloud based.
• 5+ years of skills in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP).
• Knowledge of network segmentation technologies (VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, Adaptive Policy).
• Knowledge of network management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Role needs to be located in Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC only.
