Sourcing Analyst

Overview

Sourcing Analyst on Lowe's India's Enterprise Strategic Sourcing team, executing complex IT sourcing projects for indirect spend across hardware, software, telecom, networks and consulting services.

What you'll do

• Support the development and execution of competitive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, based on business requirements.
• Develop baseline analyses, spend analyses and current-state assessments to support sourcing strategies and events.
• Analyze and consolidate supplier proposals, pricing and bid responses.
• Conduct initial bid, pricing and commercial analyses for sourcing events.
• Partner with the Market Intelligence team to conduct supplier and market research, identify potential suppliers, and provide analysis to support sourcing strategies, supplier selection and competitive sourcing events.
• Create and administer sourcing events using applicable e-sourcing tools and processes.
• Support supplier negotiations and the contracting process for vendor agreements, including master agreements, NDAs, SOWs and amendments, while adhering to applicable financial policies and compliance requirements.
• Track sourcing initiatives, maintain project documentation and provide timely status updates to ESS and business partners.
• Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support sourcing initiatives.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional partners.

What you'll need

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience supporting RFPs, RFQs and other competitive sourcing events.
• Understanding of sourcing, contracting and commercial principles.
• Supplier/vendor management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives and priorities.
