Overview

Specialized Analytics Manager (Assistant Vice President) leads and supervises analytics operations, advising on in-depth disciplinary expertise and overseeing team performance.

What you'll do

• Provide operational/service leadership and direction to one or more teams.
• Evaluate, recommend, and support business strategies using large and complex internal/external data sets.
• Identify and compile datasets using tools such as SQL and Access to predict, improve, and measure business outcomes.
• Document data requirements, collect/process/clean data, and conduct exploratory data analysis.
• Use statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques where needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Supervise others, create accountability, and manage performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, and disciplinary actions including terminations.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to focus on multiple priorities and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in data quality, data analytics, and data management in financial services.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
