Sr Analyst

Overview

Senior analyst producing timely and accurate financial reports and statements for a designated group of hedge fund clients, and serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior staff.

What you'll do

• Under general supervision, produce timely and accurate reports and accounts for hedge fund clients.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for a designated group of funds.
• Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls.
• Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
• Have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management, where applicable.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
• Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (not a formal management role).
• Be more technically sound in area of expertise and have broader knowledge of other areas.
• Deliver a work product that requires less revision.
• Facilitate discussions and reach decisions.

What you'll need

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• In-depth functional / industry knowledge.
• High flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. PeopleSoft).
• A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience.

Nice to have

• Related industry qualification (e.g. ACCA).
