Sr Analyst - Software Engineering (.Net developer)

Overview

Build, modernize, and support business-critical enterprise applications for Nasdaq's Market Data Platform. The role focuses on scalable .NET solutions, APIs, integrations, application reliability, and AI-assisted engineering.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise and web applications.
• Build REST APIs and system integrations.
• Translate business requirements into secure and maintainable technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support releases and deployments.
• Drive automation, secure development, and software lifecycle improvements.
• Use AI-assisted tools for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and reviews.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of enterprise software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, REST APIs, and modern web development.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server knowledge, including optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with IIS administration, deployments, production support, and business-critical applications.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, source control, CI/CD, and secure coding.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python scripting, or automation.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and application modernization.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, FinTech, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to AI-enabled business solutions and workflow automation.
