Sr. Collaboration Engineer

Overview

Senior Collaboration Engineer on the Digital Employee Experience Collaboration team in Business Technology, delivering enterprise Collaboration service across Slack, Google Workspace, O365 (Microsoft Teams), Miro, Asana and Smartsheet.

What you'll do

• Deliver outstanding Collaboration service to the enterprise across the SaaS product suite.
• Balance multiple tasks while operating across a large range of technologies simultaneously, meeting daily operational responsibilities alongside customer SLAs.
• Take on tasks outside your immediate knowledge base.
• Coordinate across global operations and maintain seamless daily handoffs across time zones (PST / IST) to ensure 24x5 coverage.
• Implement operational automation that empowers Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, reducing ongoing engineering maintenance overhead.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners and leadership.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT engineering, platform administration, or enterprise systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience or interest in integrating enterprise AI tools and third-party SaaS products with enterprise collaboration stacks.
• Deep administrative expertise across Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Vault), Slack Enterprise Grid, and Microsoft 365 / MS Teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in architecting automated workflows and scripts using Python, PowerShell, Google Apps Script, REST APIs, and command-line administration tools such as GAM and Google Admin SDK.
• Proven experience operating as an escalation point for complex L3/L4 technical issues, incident management, root cause analysis, and ticketing systems (ServiceNow or Jira).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical work experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• History of balancing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced technology environment while adhering to customer SLAs.
• Passion for operational excellence, automation, AI engineering solutions, and developing modern collaborative workflows.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to a meaningful pace of work.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Flex Work: at least 50% of time each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role); remote "home office" roles may come together in offices for important moments.
• Support coverage: 24x5 across PST / IST time zones.
