Sr. Data Engineer, Analytics Engineering

Overview

Sr. Data Engineer in Analytics Engineering, responsible for building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines and analytics-ready data models for internal data products.

What you'll do

• Build data pipelines to ingest source and platform data.
• Cleanse, dedupe, and normalize data into data models for analysis.
• Implement business logic and standard calculations.
• Define and review ELT processes and data modeling solutions.
• Govern data by supporting, observing, and documenting data.
• Provide data to end consumers via data products on a warehouse/lake.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles building/maintaining pipelines, modeling, and architecture.
• 5+ years of advanced SQL for querying large multi-source datasets and automated reporting.
• 3+ years of Python for components of data pipelines including scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and pipelines, including platforms like Airflow.
• Experience with distributed messaging such as Kafka.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.

Details

• Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
• Work mode: 4 days working from office; remote during other hours.
• Work timings: office 12:00pm–5:00pm and then remote 7:30pm–10:00pm.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Travel: limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or meetings/events.
