Sr Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy pricing optimization and elasticity models, including Bayesian modeling, using AWS SageMaker.

What you'll do

• Develop pricing optimization models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Analyze pricing elasticity to predict consumer response to price changes.
• Implement and deploy machine learning models in AWS SageMaker.
• Use Bayesian modeling to support decision-making with uncertainty insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into processes.
• Communicate complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experiment with new modeling approaches and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience as stated in the requirement.
• 4+ years of hands-on data science experience focused on pricing optimization and elasticity modeling.
• Expertise in Bayesian modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Proven experience using AWS SageMaker for development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or R.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including SageMaker.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, PyMC3 or similar).
