Sr Engineer, Software Dev

Overview

Sr Engineer, Software Dev responsible for building and maintaining sustainable, scalable products and capabilities for advisors. The role leads cloud-native, complex system design and implementation using Agile practices.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality technology solutions in an Agile product development team using cloud-native technologies.
• Manage, mentor, and coach team members with a People First mindset.
• Ensure software quality via continuous integration, code quality, test-driven development, and adherence to target architecture.
• Design and develop services and components using service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architecture.
• Implement n-tiered applications meeting reliability, scalability, and supportability needs.
• Work cross-functionally with Development, Architecture, and Support to design and maintain platforms and integrations.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to adopt CI/CD toolchains and develop automation.

What you'll need

• 8+ years full stack development experience using .NET / .NET Core technologies.
• 5+ years experience with advanced JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
• 5+ years designing applications, developing web services (REST/GraphQL), and integrating with vendor APIs.
• 3+ years development and design experience using a cloud hosting provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• 5+ years designing... (preferred) Strong SQL Server skills (procedures, views, functions).
• Experience with SAFe or Agile methodologies using JIRA.
• Experience with real-time solution monitoring and reporting.
