Sr Engineer- Test

Overview

Senior Software Test Engineer responsible for validating XR, multimedia, embedded, cloud, and application software across multiple platforms. The role develops test automation, evaluates systems and devices, and contributes to customer experience improvements.

What you'll do

• Support testing for XR software, 3D application kits, connectivity, and multimedia technologies.
• Write and execute test cases and procedures.
• Develop test applications for Android, Linux, and Windows.
• Create automation scripts using Python, C, and C++.
• Evaluate systems and devices through testing, logging, and analysis.
• Build test environments and automation systems for execution and result parsing.
• Isolate issues and develop content to exercise new features.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of software test engineering or related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 1 year with a master's degree.
• Experience developing and automating software or system test plans and tools.
• Experience testing applications on Windows, Linux, and Android.
• Expertise in C, C++, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AR/VR technologies including 6DOF Tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, and WebXR.
• Strong Windows and Linux OS knowledge, including batch scripting and Linux commands.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing 3D applications or games with Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of video encoding and decoding techniques.
• Experience in data analysis, automation, and Python scripting.
• Understanding of image processing and computer graphics pipelines.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning technologies.
• Knowledge of wireless transmission and networking technologies.
