Sr. Full Stack Developer

Overview

ABB is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for its Industrial Automation Digital Organization in Bangalore. The role involves designing and delivering scalable full-stack applications and collaborating across global engineering and UX teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with frontend focus using React and/or Angular.
• Build backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop application workflows with APIs and relational/time-series databases.
• Maintain software quality via unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD support.
• Participate in architecture decisions, technical discussions, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with UX, architects, product, and engineering stakeholders while mentoring engineers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional frontend experience using React and/or Angular.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core including backend service and API development.
• 3+ years experience working with databases, including relational databases.
• Experience with modern software practices including Kubernetes, unit testing, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and basic microservices/cloud-native understanding.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
