Sr. Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

Overview

Join the AIDR Engineering Team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer supporting high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing and advanced data science use cases. The role focuses on scalable, customer-facing AI applications and close collaboration with data scientists and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Build solutions supporting LLM post-training and custom model implementation.
• Construct and maintain data pipelines for rigorous evaluations.
• Design and operate scalable, low-latency inference systems.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Develop, test, deploy, and monitor changes end to end.
• Collaborate across teams to define and implement solutions.
• Mentor engineers and improve architecture, performance, and reliability.

What you'll need

• Experience in data engineering and architecture for advanced data science use cases.
• Deep understanding of LLM post-training methods and computational architectures.
• Understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
• Strong engineering practices covering testing, code review, and resilient architecture.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Ability to produce high-quality, unit-tested software in collaborative environments.

Nice to have

• Applied experience with scalable architectures for LLM post-training or fine-tuning.
• Experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.

Details

• Remote role in the United States.
• Base salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year.
