Overview

Sr Principal IT Technologist, Security Engineering—an Infrastructure Security Engineer role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls for enterprise systems, applications, and data.

What you'll do

• Support security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response activities.
• Lead or support investigations of security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage vulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation efforts.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Support secure CI/CD pipelines, application security testing, and secrets management.
• Design IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
• Align security controls with regulatory and compliance requirements and security standards.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 8+ years with an advanced degree OR 12+ years with a high school diploma.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation).
• Strong understanding of operating system security (Windows, Linux).
• Cloud security fundamentals and shared responsibility models.
• Solid scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Experience implementing and operating enterprise security tools.
