Sr Project Manager, Fast Trak Scientific Excellence

Overview

Lead cross-functional innovation and improvement projects within the Fast Trak Scientific Excellence PMO, managing development, market support, collaboration or improvement projects for Process Development services from early specification definition through to testing, validation or publication.

What you'll do

• Lead a cross-functional team to execute on innovation projects.
• Collaborate closely with product management, subject matter experts, Fast Trak scientists, quality assurance, operations, marketing, sourcing and legal to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
• Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and develop new, innovative solutions that enhance team performance.
• Create and own the project schedule.
• Manage project timelines, resources and budgets effectively to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality deliverables.
• Run regular project meetings, ensuring all actions are assigned, tracked and completed on time.
• Track and report project risks and issues; make and deliver mitigation plans as required to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Identify and engage stakeholders; provide regular updates and ensure alignment with senior stakeholders on project goals, objectives and project status visibility.
• Work in accordance with the Project Management tools of the Danaher Business System.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, biotechnology or a related field.
• 5+ years project management experience in a matrixed team environment, with a good track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership and solution-driven approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Preferably experience in new product development (NPD).
• Working knowledge of cell biology and cell line development activities.
• Experience designing or delivering new technical services to market.

• Reports to the Director, Fast Trak Scientific Excellence PMO; part of the Clinical Programs Portfolio & Commercial Ops team.
