Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer on HighLevel's Email team, owning the email platform that sends 40M+ emails a day, from compose to inbox, and operating as a Team of One to own product outcomes end to end.

What you'll do

• Own the Vue.js email design, compose and sending apps and the Node.js/NestJS services behind them.
• Manage sending infrastructure and deliverability, including IP pools, dedicated IPs, dedicated domains and shared domain pools.
• Build and expose email capabilities through APIs so email can be built into any product or workflow.
• Keep throughput high at peak load, with high uptime and send success rates.
• Integrate email statistics with internal teams and make every release measurable on dashboards.
• Bring LLM-powered capabilities into email creation, weighing token cost, latency and quality.
• Take an idea from prototype to production to scale, using AI across design, coding, testing, reviews and debugging.
