Sr. Software Engineer (IS)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and improving software solutions in Java. The role involves translating business needs into prototypes and production platforms while contributing to technology adoption and technical direction.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
• Translate business needs into prototypes and production platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders on requirements and solution strategies.
• Contribute hands-on coding to platform development.
• Lead delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones.
• Implement secure coding and unit testing practices.
• Participate in code reviews and guide less experienced specialists.

What you'll need

• Expertise in Java development.
• Experience with streaming frameworks, preferably Kafka.
• Expertise in cloud-based deployments using AWS.
• Experience with automation testing of frameworks.
• People management experience for core platform engineers.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with risk management, strategic thinking, and digital technology expertise.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of API platform building.
• Experience with ApigeeX.
