Sr. Software Engineer L4

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for resolving complex, production-impacting issues in enterprise and hyperscale environments. The role focuses on Infinia distributed systems, technical escalations, product resiliency, and customer-facing engineering support.

What you'll do

• Own critical customer escalations through root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Lead incident war rooms and cross-functional response efforts.
• Use AI-powered tools for debugging, log analysis, and pattern recognition.
• Reproduce complex customer issues and propose product improvements.
• Author runbooks, performance guides, and RCA documentation.
• Translate technical issues into executive summaries and business impacts.
• Deliver training to customer support and field engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in enterprise storage, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure support or engineering.
• Deep knowledge of file systems including S3, POSIX, and NFS.
• Understanding of storage performance and Linux kernel internals.
• Scripting and coding skills in Python, Go, and C++.
• Debugging experience at system, protocol, and application levels.
• Hands-on Linux troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with RDMA, NVMe-oF, or high-performance networking stacks.
