Overview

Senior Enterprise Storage & DevOps Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of hybrid cloud storage solutions across on-premises data centers and AWS/Azure cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and support resilient and scalable storage infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Independently identify and run proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies, including rigorous solution testing to validate performance, security, and reliability before broader adoption.
• Lead technical projects from ideation to implementation, translating customer requirements into features, presenting proposed solutions to stakeholders for feedback and buy-in, and managing successful rollout to internal customers.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance services through automation, using modern IaC and scripting practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on storage and data management, consulting with other product teams and helping to shape the long-term technical strategy.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and continuously improving throughout their lifecycle.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment, demonstrating flexibility and a passion for continuous learning.

What you'll need

• Extensive IT experience (approx. 6-8 years) with a strong background in designing, building, and managing enterprise-scale infrastructure, focused on storage, cloud, and data resiliency.
• Deep technical expertise (approx. 4-5 years) with proven hands-on experience in a senior engineering or high-level support role responsible for the stability and performance of critical systems.
• Architectural mindset: ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, well-documented technical solutions and communicate designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experienced in delivering projects and features in a Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience building and managing secure, scalable solutions in a major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major IaC tool such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Practical experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, with a strong command of Git for version control.
• Understanding of enterprise-grade storage principles (Block, File, Object) and disaster recovery strategies in a hybrid context.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with AWS core services (VPC, IAM, Route53), storage offerings (S3, EFS, FSx), and serverless components.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with on-premises platforms (Dell, NetApp).
• Familiarity with observability SRE tools such as Prometheus & Grafana.
• Experience developing self-service portals or workflows, particularly with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes.
