Sr Systems Analyst - Reporting & Analytics

Overview

Sr Systems Analyst focused on Reporting & Analytics for Visa’s Finance platform, building dashboards, semantic models, and AI-enabled analytics solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI-enabled executive and self-service dashboards for Finance reporting.
• Own the end-to-end dashboard/report lifecycle from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop semantic metric frameworks and scalable data models on FDP with Data Engineering.
• Write optimized SQL to extract, transform, and manipulate data from enterprise warehouses.
• Design and deploy LLM/AI agent-powered analytics solutions using tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
• Conduct data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and document data lineage for auditability.
• Serve as a Finance BI liaison to DSG and Corporate IT for the Finance semantic layer.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of work experience with an advanced degree.
• 5+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial reporting.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise dashboards using Power BI (DAX, semantic modeling, governance).
• Solid understanding of Finance management reporting cycles (e.g., Month-End Close, QBR, Budget, CFO Close).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling (star schema, fact and dimension tables).
• Ability to adopt AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar LLM-based tools) for analytics workflows.
