Staff Backend Software Engineer - Platform Integration

Overview

Staff Backend Software Engineer for Platform Integration, building scalable client onboarding solutions that enable customers to bring financial data into Addepar systems.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Product, Client Solutions, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end onboarding solutions.
• Write well-designed, tested code for complex engineering problems.
• Lead individual projects, including technical solution and architecture design, timelines, estimation, coding, and implementation.
• Communicate technical ideas and steer project direction from an engineering standpoint.
• Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Preferred experience with Python and/or Java.
• Ownership mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to take ideas from inception through to production.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data processing and analysis using PySpark or similar frameworks.
• Experience building data systems using AWS.

Details

• Starting pay is market-based and depends on role, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
• Colorado, California, and New York base salary target range: $150,000–$234,000.
