Staff Engineer

Overview

Staff Engineer role focused on designing and building complex, secure cloud/web applications using defined architecture and sound engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Implement complex systems based on application software architecture.
• Collaborate on component and sub-system level design.
• Apply defined design practices and Agile methodology to build safe, robust products.
• Design, implement, and test secure Windows/cloud/web applications.
• Collaborate with global and local development teams.
• Maintain and support existing applications.

What you'll need

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience of 7+ years in design and development of complex software systems.
• At least 2 years developing cloud-based applications on Azure.
• Backend skills including C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET/.NET Core, REST API, and Windows Services.
• Frontend/responsive web skills: React.js or Angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Experience with Redux, REST APIs, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST/SOAP/Web APIs on the .NET stack.

Nice to have

• CI/CD pipeline understanding on Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
• Entity Framework, Git, unit tests, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of tools like SonarCube, NUnit, NCover, or FxCop.
• Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM.
