Staff Engineer – Front-End Software Development (Angular, TypeScript)

Overview

Staff Engineer role focused on front-end software development for web, desktop and cloud applications, working within a multi-disciplinary team and the global R&D group.

What you'll do

• Develop web, desktop and cloud software applications using .NET Core, Angular, React, Node.js and Python frameworks.
• Work on UI/UX design elements to implement functional and appealing user interfaces.
• Perform unit testing, static analysis and dynamic analysis.
• Understand software and system requirements and perform code and document reviews.
• Translate requirements into design to develop and document features across subsystems.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team and global R&D group, including system engineers, developers and global peers, to create design strategy.
• Perform selection, evaluation and implementation of software technologies, tools and frameworks in cloud, cloud-native (AWS, Azure) and cloud-enabled environments.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-11 years of experience in web, cloud and desktop application software development and testing.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and C#.
• Knowledge of data formats such as XML and JSON, and of databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB and NoSQL.
• Cloud technologies experience (design, development, deployment and maintenance) with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Git and dynamic/static memory analysis tools.
• Practice and knowledge of Agile Scrum or DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience with mobile technologies and platforms.
• Knowledge and experience with regulatory and compliance standards similar to IEC 62304, HIPAA Data Privacy and FIPS.
