Staff Engineer - Linux Device Drivers

Overview

Staff Engineer in the Qualcomm Cloud AI team to develop and extend Linux kernel device drivers for QCR-100 and related PCIe accelerators.

What you'll do

• Develop and extend Linux kernel driver code for PCIe device setup.
• Implement firmware loading for kernel-related device workflows.
• Work on MHI bus driver support.
• Build DMABUF importation and manage DMA transfers.
• Develop low-level kernel code and corresponding tests.

What you'll need

• Experience with Linux kernel driver development, kernel modules, sysfs, and debugging techniques.
• Experience with development in C.
• Experience with git.
• Willingness to work in a structured software development environment.
• 2+ years programming-language work experience.
• Education: a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, OR Master’s with 3+ years, OR PhD with 2+ years in relevant areas.
