Overview
Staff Product Manager owning the agent product experience for how AI coding agents discover, integrate, use in production, and verify Deepgram.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end agent experience across discovery, integration/onboarding, production use, and verification.
- Build a system to measure and optimize the agent funnel as agent behavior changes.
- Own agent-specific product surfaces including signup/authentication, trial-key/token defaults, and console onboarding.
- Define platform requirements (SDK ergonomics, agent-readable docs/llms.txt, MCP server, CLI, skills package, starter templates) and prototype changes.
- Stand up an operating system for the work, including business rhythms, reporting/optimization, and experimentation.
- Create feedback loops from agent traffic so the product improves over time.
- Apply product perspective on agent needs and failure points based on how models retrieve, choose, and integrate.
What you'll need
- Excellent product management judgment: own product/roadmap, decide under uncertainty, ship outcomes, and lead cross-functional work.
- Former engineer depth: previously a senior software engineer and able to architect and ship production systems.
- Deep AI fluency shown through shipped AI software beyond prompt files and markdown (e.g., agents, MCP servers, CLI tools, evaluation harnesses).
- Proven ability to stand up a complete system from scratch (business rhythms, reporting/optimization, experimentation platform).
- PLG and developer-product fluency for API adoption by developers and increasingly their agents.
- The judgment to distrust a number or passing test before building.
- Clear executive communication: lead with decisions and hold up under pushback.
