Overview
Staff Security Engineer to join the Information Security & Risk team’s Security Solutions group and drive organization-wide security enhancements.
What you'll do
- Lead and execute complex, project-driven security enhancements across infrastructure, applications, and the corporate environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to architect, build, and deploy scalable, resilient security solutions.
- Build tools, guardrails, and automated workflows to help development teams ship secure code.
- Identify gaps in the current security posture, design remediation plans, and execute them to maturity.
- Serve as a trusted security advisor across engineering, product, and R&D teams while promoting security enablement.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in the Information Security & Risk team.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of dedicated experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, data security, or cloud security roles.
- Track record of turning vague security problems into structured project plans and delivering to completion.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Curiosity and a deep interest in Information Security.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Details
- Current base salary range: $199,000 - $249,000 (Colorado, California, and New York); bonus, equity, and benefits are separate.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.
