Overview
Staff Software Engineer – AI to lead development of enterprise AI systems across legal, tax, risk, and compliance domains.
What you'll do
- Spearhead development of AI-powered solutions and technical strategy.
- Architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI systems, including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
- Design scalable ways to integrate AI models into production software via APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
- Lead adaptation of AI models for specialized regulated domains (e.g., legal, tax, fraud, compliance).
- Define AI system architecture standards and best practices, and lead evaluation/adoption of AI techniques.
- Develop testing, monitoring, and observability for AI model performance and ensure compliance with ethical, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor engineers and champion MLOps/LLMOps, including governance for AI model lifecycle management.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior/lead AI/ML-focused roles.
- Expert-level Python proficiency.
- Extensive AI/ML framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and the full lifecycle of enterprise AI applications.
- Experience integrating AI models into production systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Advanced cloud/platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Leadership experience driving technical initiatives and communicating with senior stakeholders.
