Overview

Staff Software Engineer – AI to lead development of enterprise AI systems across legal, tax, risk, and compliance domains.

What you'll do

• Spearhead development of AI-powered solutions and technical strategy.
• Architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI systems, including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Design scalable ways to integrate AI models into production software via APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Lead adaptation of AI models for specialized regulated domains (e.g., legal, tax, fraud, compliance).
• Define AI system architecture standards and best practices, and lead evaluation/adoption of AI techniques.
• Develop testing, monitoring, and observability for AI model performance and ensure compliance with ethical, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor engineers and champion MLOps/LLMOps, including governance for AI model lifecycle management.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior/lead AI/ML-focused roles.
• Expert-level Python proficiency.
• Extensive AI/ML framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and the full lifecycle of enterprise AI applications.
• Experience integrating AI models into production systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• Advanced cloud/platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Leadership experience driving technical initiatives and communicating with senior stakeholders.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India (also listed: Bengaluru, Karnataka).
• Hybrid work model: 2–3 days a week in the office (for office-based roles).
