Staff Software Engineer-FullStack

Overview

Develop and optimize full-stack solutions for People Technology applications, including Workday, Greenhouse, and Cornerstone, within the Business Technology team. The role focuses on integrations, workflows, system enhancements, cloud-native solutions, and AI capabilities for People Technology.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions for the People Technology stack, including Workday, Greenhouse, and Cornerstone cloud applications, using full-stack applications such as Node.js and React.
• Develop and maintain off-platform integration scripts using Python and LangChain to manage data transfer and interactions between People Technology applications via APIs and AI platforms.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-native solutions on AWS for RAG, MCP, A2A, and Agentic AI using LangGraph.
• Work with the BT Product Manager to design, develop, test, implement, and support system solutions primarily in People Technology.
• Provide technical consultation, best practices, and problem resolution for AI and Agentic AI across the People Technology stack.
• Work with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, Cornerstone, Greenhouse, and associated integrated systems.
• Work with AI/ML teams and solution architects to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Support and resolve production issues across the full application stack.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications via REST/SOAP APIs, Agent to Agent (A2A), and MCP.
• Design and implement custom Generative AI solutions using Workday Agent System of Record Agent Tools for practical Workday use cases.

What you'll need

• 9+ years in Python and its libraries, such as Pandas and Boto3, for data manipulation, ETL processes, and developing serverless functions to interact with foundational AI services on platforms such as AWS Bedrock or OpenAI, or equivalent platforms.
• 6+ years with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Design.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS solutioning, including designing and deploying production applications using AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI applications and services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent years of industry experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
• Understanding of HR/ERP platforms.
• AWS cloud certification or any ERP foundation certificate.
