Support Engineer

Overview

Support Engineer role focused on L2 support for data pipelines and operations, including monitoring, incident management, and data quality support.

What you'll do

• Provide L2 support for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data platforms.
• Monitor data workflows to ensure data availability, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Manage and resolve production incidents, data failures, and performance issues.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks and track SLIs/SLOs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for data issues and system outages and resolve incidents within SLAs.
• Ensure data integrity via validation checks and automated quality frameworks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT tools).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data querying.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools.
• Scripting experience with Python, SQL, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI (DataIKU optional).

Nice to have

• BI tool DataIKU (optional).
