System Security Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, and verify security and platform features for NVIDIA GPU controllers, working across embedded software, firmware, drivers, hardware, and system software.

What you'll do

• Define and develop security and platform features for RISC-V and in-house GPU controllers.
• Perform threat modeling, code reviews, static and dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and negative testing.
• Use simulation, emulation, and pre-silicon modeling to validate system and security properties.
• Support devices from development and silicon bring-up through production.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system software teams across time zones.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve development, review, and testing.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
• B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Embedded systems and/or kernel or driver development experience.
• Strong C programming skills and experience with bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Understanding of computer architecture and SoC fundamentals.
• Experience debugging issues across firmware, drivers, and hardware.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RISC-V, BSP or firmware bring-up, toolchains, or on-chip security controllers.
• Knowledge of hardware security, applied cryptography, and secure coding.
• Experience with secure boot, code integrity, confidentiality, TEEs, or key provisioning.
• Experience with FPGA prototyping, virtual platforms, QEMU/PQEMU, or emulators.
• Familiarity with fault injection, coverage-driven testing, or formal security methods.
