Overview
Engineer responsible for product cybersecurity testing, threat modeling, compliance support, security automation, and cybersecurity enablement across Eaton products, solutions, and services.
What you'll do
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across IoT, web, mobile, embedded, wireless, cloud, and other technologies.
- Support threat modeling and risk assessments during product design and development.
- Support product certification and compliance activities for standards including UL2900 and IEC62443.
- Build security tools, scripts, and automation frameworks.
- Deliver technical security training to developers, test engineers, and other functions.
- Monitor evolving threats, technologies, standards, and frameworks to improve security processes.
- Support cybersecurity project management and operational excellence processes.
What you'll need
- 3–4 years of relevant product cybersecurity experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with IoT security, web/API penetration testing, and Azure cloud infrastructure testing.
- Experience with cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, access control, cryptography, secure coding, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience with tools including Nessus, Black Duck, Defensics, Burp Suite, Coverity, Kali Linux, Azure Defender, CrowdStrike, and Invicti.
- Knowledge of web, cloud, operating system, network, ICS, and wireless security.
- Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary teams and present to engineering and business leadership.
Nice to have
- CEH, OSCP, AZ-900, or AZ-500 certification.
