Cyber Security & Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

Cyber Security & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and secure hybrid cloud and infrastructure environments, leading parts of cybersecurity operations, cloud security, compliance, and incident response.

What you'll do

• Support the organization’s annual SOC 2 Type II audit program with control design, evidence collection, remediation, and auditor coordination.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Sentinel, including security monitoring, analytics, alerting, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate containment, remediation, and recovery, including forensic investigations.
• Design and maintain secure Microsoft Azure environments and implement Azure security best practices.
• Maintain hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AWS, identity services, Windows Server, virtualization, endpoints) and deliver high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop security automation using PowerShell and related cloud automation/SOAR capabilities and report cybersecurity metrics.

What you'll need

• 3-5+ years of cybersecurity and infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• 2+ years administering Microsoft Sentinel or comparable SIEM platforms.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 Type II audits.
• Experience securing AWS cloud environments.
• PowerShell scripting experience and security monitoring/SIEM operations knowledge.

Nice to have

• Preferred: Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Preferred: Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Preferred certifications include SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, AZ-104, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP/CISM/GCIA, and Security+.

• Fully remote with participation in an on-call rotation for security incidents and critical infrastructure support.
