Tech Lead - DevOps 4C

Overview

Tech Lead for DevOps at Genpact, responsible for automation, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD delivery, with technical leadership of the DevOps team.

What you'll do

• Understand client's infrastructure and various applications running on the servers.
• Write, review, and approve automation and infrastructure code.
• Work with project teams to build automation pipelines for application environment deployments.
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
• Present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
• Evaluate potential single-points of failure within the cloud infrastructure.
• Recommend risk mitigation next steps to build out a high availability solution.
• Apply experience, technical knowledge and innovative techniques to resolve complex operations challenges.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Lead efforts to automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the DevOps team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of applications.
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions for optimization.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve existing DevOps practices.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of services.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master's in Computer Science.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (AWS).
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) (Linux Academy).
• Docker & Kubernetes – Basic to Advanced (Technical Guftgu).
• Microsoft DevOps Solutions (AZ-400) (Microsoft).
• Required skills include Agile Methodology, Artifactory, Atlassian, Atlassian Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Chef (Software), Cloud Automation, DevOps, DevOps Coaching, DevSecOps, Docker (Software), GitHub, GitLab, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), among others.
• English language proficiency at Advanced level (C1).
