Overview
Technical Manager role for implementing complex Actimize on-prem and hosted SaaS solutions within the Actimize Professional Services team.
What you'll do
- Manage team delivery to ensure successful releases by tracking work, dependencies, and risks.
- Ensure technical delivery and release quality by enforcing engineering practices (unit tests, smoke/regression, code reviews, design practices).
- Act as a POC by highlighting delivery risks.
- Support team members’ technical and career growth through training, leadership opportunities, and mentorship.
- Own individual and team utilization, including resource management activities.
- Collaborate with R&D, other implementation teams, and customer support teams.
- Run ongoing performance management activities, including regular 1:1s.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years leading a high performing development team or software product implementation environment.
- Exposure to onsite/offshore working model.
- Resource management experience (resource appraisals, risk management, backup planning, work planning/allocation).
- Installation, customization, and configuration experience for complex SaaS hosted software products.
- Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres and database concepts; hands-on SQL.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and basic Shell scripting.
Nice to have
- Professional services experience.
- Compliance/banking domain knowledge and/or exposure to AML/IFM/financial market compliance.
- Experience with private and public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud Engine, or Azure) and being able to drive solutioning on cloud technologies.
- Experience with tools including Jenkins, Docker, VMs, Kubernetes, and Artifactory.
- Experience with high performance, highly available and scalable systems.
