Technical Product Manager

Overview

Own a technical product vertical for BJAK’s neobank superapp, from strategy and roadmap through technical design and delivery. The role focuses on regulated, high-consequence financial products where correctness, reliability, compliance and trusted AI use are essential.

What you'll do

• Own a product vertical, including outcomes, metrics, backlog and acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical designs covering money movement, reconciliation, third-party rails, failures, security and scalability.
• Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability and user experience.
• Incorporate licensing, KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, privacy and data-residency constraints.
• Define appropriate AI use, evaluation methods, human oversight and uncertainty handling.
• Ship features behind flags and coordinate launches as partner and regulatory gates clear.
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance/Reconciliation.

What you'll need

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end to end.
• Strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Solid system-design knowledge across architectures, APIs, workflows, failure modes and concurrency.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain, or demonstrable ability to ramp quickly.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluable AI features.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Engineering or highly technical product-management background.
• Zero-to-one product experience.
• Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
• Experience defining evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems.
• AI UX and failure-handling intuition.
• Southeast Asia market experience.
