Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Provide technical support for equity management software, helping corporate and broker clients resolve data, file feed, reporting, and product issues. Partner with engineering, product, services, and support teams to investigate cases and improve product updates.

What you'll do

• Analyze data, write reports, manage files, audit databases, and provide technical support.
• Monitor daily file feeds for timeliness and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot client issues involving data interfaces, automated processes, and reporting.
• Test, document, and escalate potential product defects or data issues.
• Collaborate with product and services teams to prioritize sprint release items.
• Manage customer cases through Salesforce and document knowledgebase solutions.
• Respond to customer inquiries during peak support periods.

What you'll need

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work US Pacific Standard Time hours.
• Proficiency with SQL, FTP, data management, and file interfaces.
• Experience with relational databases, data analysis, report writing, auditing, and SQL data updates.
• Advanced Excel skills using formulas and functions for data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, written, phone, and conversation-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a listed quantitative, technical, accounting, or management information systems field.

Nice to have

• Exposure to agile methodologies and environments.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Jira.
• Experience with US executive compensation, stock plans, or ESPP industries.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including ASC 718.
• Certified Equity Professional designation.

Details

• Remote role in the United States.
• Base salary range: USD 65,000–81,000 annually.
