Technical Support Engineer – Mist Assurance

Overview

Technical Support Engineer for Mist Assurance, handling triage and resolution of customer-reported network issues.

What you'll do

• Triage and resolve customer-reported issues to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Follow standard troubleshooting steps and predefined action plans.
• Meet SLAs for response time, resolution time, and customer communication quality.
• Reproduce basic customer issues in test environments when required.
• Analyze logs/system outputs to identify known issues and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain and update knowledge base articles and documentation.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in technical support for enterprise/campus or cloud networks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and teams.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for common network-related issues using standard procedures.
• Foundational networking knowledge including VLANs, STP, LACP, and basic multicast concepts.
• Foundational core IP protocols knowledge (ARP, ICMP, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP).
• Basic authentication knowledge (802.1X, EAP basics).

Details

• Work mode is Hybrid, requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
