Technology Architect

Overview

Design, develop and maintain Python and Django web applications, with RESTful APIs, AWS deployment and AI agent functions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django framework.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external services including for AI agents.
• Work with PL/SQL for database operations, optimization, and stored procedures.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering and solution design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Develop AI agent skills / functions in Python.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Strong experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with database technologies: SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in Python for implementing AI solutions.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and work independently.
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying and solving complex technical problems.

• Strong client focus and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), cloud (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), or automation (e.g., DevNet) are a plus.
