Overview
Hybrid Test Engineer delivering QA testing for Workday HR solutions and supporting global HR testing needs.
What you'll do
- Analyze project requirements to build test plans.
- Document test cases and manage test case executions.
- Track, record, and help resolve defects during testing (Jira).
- Identify test case automation opportunities and implement automation using Kainos automated testing tool/tooling for Workday.
- Prepare QA checklists, templates, and standard work to improve QA processes.
- Deliver testing artifacts on time per project schedules and prioritize across multiple projects.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and report progress, work stoppers, and defects in Jira.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent.
- Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience testing Workday functional areas including HCM, Recruiting, Core Compensation, Talent and Performance, Time Off, Leave of Absence, Learning, Security, etc.
- Ability to perform Workday Release testing.
- Knowledge of SDLC from requirements through implementation for Workday HR solutions and custom applications.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Jira, Quality Center, Kainos, and Selenium.
- Experience in the HR/Payroll domain.
