Test Lead - Enterprise Data Platform

Overview

Test Lead for the Enterprise Data Platform, leading test phases (ST/SIT/UAT) and governing testing outcomes. Focus includes data/ETL testing with SQL, automation, traceability, and UAT readiness.

What you'll do

• Plan and govern test phases (ST/SIT/UAT) using internal test artifacts.
• Manage entry/exit criteria, evidence, and sign-off for testing.
• Design test scenarios and scripts from requirements, mapping rules, and walkthroughs while maintaining requirement-to-result traceability.
• Execute data/ETL testing by writing SQL to validate transformations, reconciliations, and data quality.
• Lead test automation by creating automation scripts and frameworks under an “automated by default” approach.
• Support UAT readiness and execution with business SMEs, coordinating walkthroughs and defect triage (JIRA/Zephyr).
• Produce test completion reports and recommend go/no-go based on rationale and MI.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of experience, including 5+ years as a Senior Automation Engineer.
• Hands-on experience writing automated testing frameworks for data testing.
• Expertise in industry testing/test management and test automation tools.
• Experience with JIRA/Zephyr.
• Must have: Python (PySpark), SQL, and Scala.
• Must have knowledge of Azure Cloud & Databricks Platform.
• Must have experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and detailed testing best practices, strategies, and processes.
