Overview

Threat Intelligence Analyst – Associate in Deutsche Bank’s Threat Intelligence function within the Chief Security Office.

What you'll do

• Identify, monitor, and report geopolitical, regional, and local developments affecting business operations and assets.
• Collect and assess threat intelligence from HUMINT and OSINT sources, including vendors, networks, industry associations, and social media.
• Monitor physical security threats such as terrorism, crime, civil unrest, political instability, insider threats, and targeted violence.
• Conduct geopolitical and country risk analysis and produce intelligence reports, alerts, assessments, watchlists, and risk dashboards.
• Provide time-critical intelligence during crises, emergencies, business continuity incidents, and security incidents.
• Maintain intelligence databases, analytical methodologies, and reporting standards for consistent intelligence products.

What you'll need

• At least five years of experience in security, geopolitical intelligence, threat intelligence, or a related analytical field.
• Strong knowledge of global geopolitics and regional security dynamics, focused on Asia Pacific and South Asia.
• Understanding of the intelligence life cycle (collection, validation, analysis, production, dissemination).
• Experience using OSINT sources such as social media monitoring, news feeds, and commercial intelligence platforms.
• Stakeholder/operational support experience with incident response, crisis management, business continuity, or security operations teams.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as political science, international relations, history, security studies, or related discipline.
