Trading Enabler Analyst

Overview

Join Treasury at Deutsche Bank as a Trading Enabler Analyst, supporting the sourcing, management and optimization of liquidity and capital through quantitative analysis, risk analytics and automation.

What you'll do

• Perform balance-sheet, interest-rate, liquidity and capital analysis
• Carry out risk analytics, including sensitivities and scenario analysis
• Develop forecasting and quantitative models
• Conduct funding, bond and investment analytics
• Support portfolio and hedge optimization
• Perform data analysis, validation and reconciliation
• Build Python-based analytical tools and automation
• Apply Generative AI and advanced analytics to relevant Treasury use cases
• Use data and quantitative methods to support Treasury decision-making

What you'll need

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong Python and data analysis skills
• Good foundation in mathematics, statistics and quantitative modelling
• Basic understanding of transformer-based generative AI models and how they generate information, how agentic AI systems are built and their limitations
• Ability to work with complex datasets
• Strong communication skills to translate analysis into practical business insights

Nice to have

• SQL
• Understanding of financial markets, fixed income, interest rates and risk concepts
• Exposure to optimization, forecasting, time-series analysis, simulation or machine learning
• Prior experience in financial markets, banking, quantitative analytics, data science, modelling, optimization, risk analytics or technology

• Candidates may work across Treasury (Asset Liability Management, Product Behavioral Modelling, Treasury Debt Issuance, Investment Management, Cash & Liquidity Management, Capital and Risk Analytics), depending on skillset and business requirements
• Background: B.Tech / Dual Degree from IITs; open to all branches, with preference for candidates demonstrating strong quantitative, analytical and computational ability
