We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at VirtuBox. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's sales efforts by developing a deep understanding of our products, conducting market research, engaging with clients, and generating new leads. As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior consultants, learn from their expertise, and contribute to the success of our growing organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge Acquisition: Learn and develop a thorough understanding of the products and solutions offered by the company, including their features, benefits, use cases, and target markets.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Client Interaction: Support and shadow senior consultants in engaging with clients to discover their business challenges and technical needs.
- Proposal and Quote Preparation: Assist in preparing customized proposals, quotes, and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses based on the client's specific requirements by aligning product benefits with customer needs, and demonstrating ROI and value.
- CRM Management: Accurately document all sales activities, including lead generation, qualifications, client interactions, and deal progress into the company's CRM software - VirtuBox Hub.
- Lead Generation: Research potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, company websites, and market reports to identify decision-makers. Also, reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media for lead generation.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in client meetings and assist in building and nurturing relationships with potential and existing customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the technology industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
- Excellent research and analytical skills to understand market trends and customer needs
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take ownership of tasks
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen interest in learning and growing within the organization
